Give administrators access to make changes to status details, etc.
If administrators had access to make changes to Status Details it would eliminate some of the tickets submitted to Zendesk for assistance with this.
Global Admins do have access to change/create/update the Status Details. What we don't have access to is to create/update/change the Status. Is that what you are referring too? If so, I'm with you on that as I need some new Statuses, but the STatus Details we can already do ourselves.
