Edit Existing Open Help Items
To edit an existing open help item, navigate to the screen containing the feature or functionality you for which you want to edit the help information. In the example below, we have opened the Section Release screen in Application Settings for a specific application.
Click the Open Help option in the top right corner of the screen, next to your login name.
Click the Edit Help link that displays above the help text.
Edit the title and text fields as needed. See the field explanations below.
Application Help Item Field Descriptions
Screen Name: This field cannot be edited and refers to the system name for the screen.
Help Text Title: The title should reflect the tab or menu option the content explains. In the example above, the help item title "Section Release Setup" refers to the Section Release tab and contains helpful information about the features and functionality on this screen.
Edit the title using Design mode or HTML text, as preferred.
- Design mode: This editor allows you to format text similar to how you would do so in Microsoft Word. Using this feature, you can change the font size, color, style, etc., as well as add additional formatting features to your question, as needed.
- HTML text: Click the HTML text button to create the question using HTML code.
Help Text: Provide a condensed version of instructions users will find helpful while using the features and functionality on the selected screen. Edit the text using Design mode or HTML text, as preferred.
Click Save to record the changes and remain on the screen or Save & Exit to record the changes and return to the Application Help item listing page.

Click Exit to abandon any changes made and return to the Application Help item listing page.
