Disable Section Locks for Admins
Administration > Manage Site Settings > General Settings
In the General Information setup section of each application form, there exists an option to be able to lock the application form after the applicant clicks Submit (Lock After Submit.) Also, each section in an application form can Inherit the application's lock setting, or it can be overridden for that specific section. If locked, neither the applicant nor the administrator can make a change to the application form after the applicants have submitted it. If the application form or a specific section is not locked then the applicant and the administrator can make a change to that section.
If you want your Administrators (not applicants) to be able to make changes in a locked section of an application form, you can disable all those locks just for the Administrators. However, this opens all the locked sections for the administrators, not just the ones that are unlocked in a specific form.
General Settings option:
Yes – Disables and unlocks all the Application and Section editing locks for all your application forms. Your administrators can then make a change to any applicant’s application after that applicant has submitted their form even if a lock is set on that application or section. Applicants are only able to edit the unlocked sections.
No – The Application and Section locks are not overridden. The Administrator is only able to edit the application forms and sections that are unlocked. All questions will be grayed out and changes will not be able to be made.
Best Practice Tip:
If you do not want to disable this lock for your administrators, and you have a Staff section your administrators need to complete, make sure you click No for the Lock After Submit option for that Staff Section.
