Clone Existing Application

When you Clone an Existing application the following items will clone:
- Sections and Questions
- Prequalification Questions
- Request Instructions to Applicant
- Submit Application Message
- Text Tab Information 1-5 (you will need to republish after cloning)
- Collaborator Instructions
- Proxy Instructions
- Assigned Application Funds
- Fund Criteria
- Automated Scoring
- Reviewer Tasks
- Committees
- Email Templates
- Ad Hoc Reports
The Clone Existing Application button is located on the Home page, on the right above the Application Listing Report.
Click this button to clone an existing application form for your organization.
Select the application you want to clone in the Select the template for an application field.
All fields displayed on the Clone Existing Application page will be available to edit on the General Information page. Please see the General Information Setup Items article for descriptions on each field.)
Make sure to update all the information pertaining to your new application form. Fields with a red asterisk shown to the left of the field label are required and must contain a valid value in order for the application form to be saved.
Three actions related to the application form are available on the bottom left corner of the page.

Save - Click this button to save the application and remain on the page. You will be prompted to click Ok to confirm you want to save the application.

Save & Exit - Click this button to save the application and return to the Home page (Application Listing Report.)

Exit - Click this button if you no longer wish to clone an existing application form. You will be returned to the Home page (Application Listing Report.)
After you have completed the Clone Existing Application General Information setup and click Save or Save and Exit, the Associate and/or Assign Fund(s) with the Cloned Application screen will appear.
Important Note: If you Cancel this step then you will have to manually assign the funds and any fund criteria associated with those funds. The fund information will not clone if you skip this step.
If you only have one fund associated with the originating application then only the Select Associated Fund field will appear. Select the fund that is directly linked to this application form. If you are cloning an application with multiple funds, select the posting fund for the new application.
If you have multiple funds associated with the originating application the Assigned Funds box will also appear on this page. Select or unselect any funds that are applicable to the new application only. (Selecting the funds will also clone all the fund criteria from the originating cloned application)
Select Save Fund Details.
