Edit an Existing Status Detail
Administration > Manage Status Details
If you want to use an existing Status Detail but need to change the name or description, you can do so by editing the Status Detail.
Note: When you change the name of the status detail, it will change for all applicants on which the status detail was applied. If you do not want the name to change for existing applicants, make the status detail inactive and create a new status detail to replace it going forward.
Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the status detail you need to edit. The status detail information will populate in the window above the Status Details Report.
Overview of the Status Detail Fields
All fields displayed are required to create a status detail.
*Application Status Detail: Enter a brief name for the status detail. This is the name that will display in the Status Detail dropdown lists.
*Application Status Description: Enter a description that defines the purpose of the status detail.
*Sort Order: Enter a number to define the order in which this status detail will display within various reporting areas of the application’s evaluation sections.
*Active: Click the box to make the Status Detail within your application process active. Click to uncheck the box to make the Status Detail inactive.
Note: Marking an Application Status Detail as no longer active will remove it from the dropdown selection listings but will retain it in all historical applicant records.
Click Save to record the changes made to the Status Detail and remain on the page. Click Save and Exit to record the changes made to the Status Detail and return to the Status Details Report page.
Click Cancel to clear any values entered in the fields and remain on the page.
Click Exit to clear any values entered in the fields and return to the Status Details Report page.
