Update Reporting Database
The following three options for updating the reporting database are available on this screen
- Recreate Reporting Database
- Synch Applicant Data
- Synch Review Data
Note: The data in the reporting database will automatically be synched for the application all the time. However, if you notice any discrepancy in the data use the Recreate, Synch Applicant, and Synch Review reporting database options
1. Recreate Reporting Database:
All the reporting data for the selected application will be deleted from the reporting and then data (Applicant as well as Review) will be synched from scratch. This is a heavy process and .31
may take any time from 1-2 hours depending on the volume of the data that is present for the application in the system. Once initiated, the message saying “Recreation of the reporting database has been initiated. You will be notified via an email once it has been completed.”
The user won’t see the Recreate Reporting database unless and until the previous request has been completed.
Once it has been completed, the user will be notified via an email and, then he/she can start working with the reports.
The Recreate Reporting database option will be made visible/available on the screen only if any change has been made in the selected application (section included, section excluded, section deleted or section added or Question/ Field added to the application, field removed, field excluded, field deleted, field updated).
2. Synch Applicant Data:
This option will always be available and will be on the screen. Using this option only the applicant application data in the reporting database will be updated for the selected application. Once the option has been selected, the following message will be displayed to the user.
"Application data synch has been initiated. You will be notified via an email once it has been completed."
While the applicant application data is being synched, if the same or any other user tries to initiate one more request to Synch the applicant data, the following message will be displayed to the user
“Data synch is in progress right now. Application Data cannot be synched at this time. You will be notified via an email once the data synch is complete.”
3. Synch Review Data:
This option will always be available and will be on the screen. Using this option only the review data in the reporting database will be updated for the selected application. Once the option has been selected, the following message will be displayed to the user.
"Review data synch has been initiated. You will be notified via an email once it has been completed.
While the application review data is being synched, if the same or any other user tries to initiate one more request to Synch the review data, the following message will be displayed to the user
“Data synch is in progress right now. Review Data cannot be synched at this time. You will be notified via an email once the data synch is complete.”
The user can start working with the reports once, he/she receives the notification after initiating the Synch Review Data request.
If no request was initiated, the user can directly start working with the reports.
