Manage Awards – Multiple Funds
Manage Awards allows you to award by separate funding source(s). It is used to award applicants in the One-to-Many application processes where you have one application form and multiple funding sources assigned to that form which you have setup up in the Application Setup’s Assign Application Funds and Manage Funds Criteria Information.
In the Application setup, you must first have set up the Assign Application Fund, assigning the actual funding source to the application, and then set the Manage Funds Criteria Information to either pull on specific questions, or on the specific status details that were used in the final determination. Then when you open the Manage Awards report those applicants will be matched to specific funding sources and when you select the funding source, only those matched applicants will be displayed instead of everyone that applied.
In Manage Awards you can filter on the individual task to see the scores for just that task and award your applicants based on those scores.
Note: If you have a one-to-one application process (one application that has only one source funding it) and have multiple scoring tasks, you also can use the Manage Awards to view the specific scores for each separate task and award your applicant based on that task. You will first need to go to the Select Application Form Name >Manage Application Funds for that application and add the single funding source, that is linked to the application form, in the Manage Application Funds linking it there as well, before the fund/application will appear in the Manage Awards.
When using Manage Awards, you also can see replies to specific questions that you have marked “Yes” in the Questions Setup to the item Show on Award Screen.
When using Manage Awards you have two types of Awarding Orientation you can choose from in the Manage Site Settings/Manage Awards Screen Orientation. Depending on which setting you’ve chosen the following view will be seen when you open the Manage Awards report:
Applicant Specific – Gives you a listing by applicants. Show all the applicants that have applied to that application form. Next to the applicant’s name will be a Matching Awards column and the number of eligible funding awards in that application form they have been matched to. When you click on the number a screen will appear showing all the awards they have been matched to where you then can award the applicant accordingly.
Scholarship/Grant Specific – Give you a listing by funding. Show all the linked funding sources available in the application process with the number of applicants that have been matched to that funding source. Once you click on the Funding Source’s name, it will then show you a listing of applicants eligible for just that funding for you to award to.
Note: These settings are universal and affect all the application forms on your site. Therefore, you would want to use the option that is appropriate and applies to all your application forms.
Accessing Manage Awards:
From the Home dashboard > Select Application Form Name > Manage Applications > Select Manage Awards – Multiple Funds
- Step 1: This will direct you to the Home dashboard.
- Step 2: This will direct you to the Manage Applications page.
- Step 3: Select the Manage Awards-Multiple Funds.
