Advance Import from the Applicant End
Importing Responses from Existing Applications allows you to import responses you’ve entered from one application to another application. The application will pre-populate any matching questions
Step 1: Log in to the system using Applicant credentials
You will be redirected to the "My Applications" screen, where you can begin your applications.
You can also search for your scholarship/grant using the search tab.
Step 2: Once you enter your program name in the search tab and press Enter, the scholarship/grant application will appear, allowing you to begin your application.
Step 3: Click "Start New Application." You will be asked whether you are applying for yourself or on behalf of someone else.
Step 4: Once you select an option and click "Apply," you will be redirected to the applicant’s dashboard.
- Step 5: If this functionality is available, you can click the "Import Responses from Existing Applications" option after applying to an application.
- Step 6: This will take you to a list of all your submitted applications. To import responses, find the application you want and click the 'Advance Import' button next to it.
- Step 7: After clicking 'Advance Import,' you will see a list of sections available for import.
- Step 8: You can import all sections or choose specific ones as needed, then click the 'Import' button to proceed.
With the Advance Import functionality, you have the option to select specific questions within each section for import.
- Step 9: A message will appear notifying you that any information already entered will be overwritten in the new application form. Click “Yes” to proceed with the import.
- Step 10: You will then receive an additional message notifying you to confirm all the imports for accuracy. Click OK to return to your dashboard to complete the application form
- Step 11: Once the import is complete, all matching sections and questions present in both application forms will be automatically populated with the same values in the new application form.
- Step 12: Next, review each section to ensure that all imported data is accurate and up to date. Verify that responses, such as address information, reflect any recent changes.
- Step 13: After verifying the imported data, complete the remaining questions in your application form and submit the new application.
