Reset User Account Passwords
Administration > Setup Users Accounts
When initiating a password reset for a user, an automated email notification will be promptly delivered to inform the user of the reset action. Within this email, the user will receive a system-generated password, which they can utilize to access their account. This password ensures immediate access while maintaining security protocols.
Upon receipt of the email, the user can utilize the provided password to log in to their account.
Steps to Reset Password for User Account:
- Log in as an Admin and navigate to the Administration tab located in the top navigation menu.
- You will be directed to the Setup User Accounts screen.
- On the Setup User Account screen, utilize the search functionality to locate the user account for which you need to reset the password.
- Enter the user's email address, first name, or last name in the search field and click on the Search button.
- Once the user is successfully located, select the checkbox situated on the left-hand side of the user's name or organization name to indicate the user account for password reset.
- Click on the "More Options" dropdown menu and then select the "Reset Password" option.
- A confirmation message window will display to let you know an email has been sent to the user. An example of the email sent to users is below.
