Assign Members to a Committee
Home > (Select - Application Name) > Manage Applications > Manage Committees > Committee Name
Once you click on a committee name link the details for the selected committee will display and you will be able to add members to the committee.
Step 1: Click on the committee name under which you would like to add a member.
Step 2: Search for the member and move to the right-hand side to add under the committee.
Assign Members to Committee Process
- Select Committee: This field automatically populates with the committee name you selected from the Committee listing. You can select a different committee from the dropdown list if needed. This list includes all committees created for the selected application.
- Search for Committee Members: If the user you need to assign to the selected committee does not appear in the list of available users on the left you must click the blue click here link to create a CommunityForce user account before you can add the person as a member to the committee.
- Filter: Click the button to display the First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Sponsoring Organization fields you can use to filter the list of available users to assign as members to the committee. Click Search to refresh the list of available users on the left to display only users who match the filter criteria you entered.
- List of Available Users: The list on the left includes all system users available to be assigned as members of the selected committee.
- List of Assigned Members: The list on the right displays all users who have been assigned as members to the selected committee.
- Add/Remove Member
Right Facing Arrow: To assign a user as a committee member, click the username in the list on the left then click the right-facing arrow to add the user to the list of assigned committee members. Once you have added all necessary members, click the Continue button to save the assignments and return to the Committee listing page.
Left Facing Arrow: To remove a member from the selected committee, click to highlight the member name in the list on the right (Assigned Committee Members) and then click the left-facing arrow to move the name back to the list on the left (Available Users). Click Continue to save the changes and return to the Committee listing.
- Click the Continue button to save your changes and you will return to the Manage Committees listing.
