Show Submit Button on a Section
Home > (Select - Application Name) > Application Settings > Sections and Questions
The Show Submit Button option allows you to display a submit button at the end of a section to enable the applicant to submit just that one section. You will primarily use the submit button on sections you are opening up to different statuses and deadlines that fall after the original application's deadline.
Note: If you have more than one section in your application form, click No for Show Submit Button because displaying a submit button on a section can be confusing for your applicants. Only use the submit button on a section if the following applies to your application form:
a) The section is an Application section type that once an applicant completes and submits you do not want them to be able to make any changes to the section. If you use the submit button in this way, you will also need to set the Lock After Submit setting to Yes just for that one section. This setting will prevent an applicant from making any changes to the section after it has been submitted.
b) The section is a Post Acceptance section type and you need to know when this section was completed by the applicant using the Post Acceptance Report. Once the applicant clicks the submit button on that one section, the section will be marked as completed on the Post Acceptance Report.
To set the Show Submit Button on a section:
Click the Edit (pencil) icon on the row of the section for which you want to show the submit button.
Locate the Show Submit Button field and click Yes (value will turn green). Click Save or Save & Exit to record your changes.
